ive got iGo primo 2 on an sd card used in my car stereo. it was working fine and now when i try to use the gps function on the stereo i get this screen come up.

im not sure whether its the software thats not working or the GPS connected to the stereo that aint working.

because it says no signal i am assuming its the GPS ...

I downloaded sevral files from navitotal to use with primo 2.0 (feb 2012 version); but I get "inactive content" for several file types. All files are 2012 Q2 version but have different numbers:

fda: OK
Buildings: inactive content
maps: OK
hsp: inactive content
ftr: inactive content - but I do not use truck vehicle which may explain
3d landscape: inactive content
fpa: inactive content
speedcam: OK
dem: OK
hnr: inactive content
nng: OK

I have the above mentioned chinese after-market DVD/SatNav System. I've installed iGo Primo2 (version 9.6.5.211211) on an 8Gb micro-SD card. It was working fine, until I tapped on the 'Switch GPS Off' button at the end of a trip. After doing that I now just get a black screen with the words 'No Signal' showing when I try to start the GPS system again. :wallbash:

Im after a set up Primo (1 or 2) for a 64k in car for a friend. Dont need maps or dem etc.
Any one have one that works?
Ive tried fiddling with sys.txt settings in mine (used on a 128k) but I always get issues.

Hi all, this may be a long shot but does anybody know if it is possible to disable or even remove the driving/break time settings in primo 2 truck setting.IMO the notifications are a total waste of time and screen space and nowhere near accurate,I just find it a bit tedious and annoying and can do without it.Any thoughts?

I can't seem to get this to install. I had to uninstal iGo MyWay first, and then it reckoned to have installed, but when I try to run it, it says there is no global_cfg.

Of course there is - it is in content/global_cfg/global_cfg.zip But try what I may, iGo noGo.

Im realy new to this so i will do my best to explain....im using IGO8 primo and i want to make sure that i use updated maps of europe.
In the maps folder i have files like: United Kingdom_R3_TomTom_2011.12_120102.fbl
For me i can only guess its from 2011 :)
Also with this new primo i see TomTom, my previous version was different...,i think it was..NAVTEQ or something..
anyway, now my maps are called tomtom... ...

It seems like something isn't right, When i put the sd card in the unit the application loads fine but then it just reloads and reloads and reloads And it never starts up. This is what the sys file looks like this

I am currently running Primo 2.0.
My base map has the street names along the street itself. When the GPS sats are found and my actual location appears, the map then displays the street names floating in these "word ballons" sort of like the funny pages.
Does anyone know how to revert back to the normal. name type that runs along the length of the street? The word ballons get in the way of POI ...
