Hello. I've been trying to download the map of Europe for two days, but the navigation doesn't recognize it. I have no idea. I've downloaded maps many times, but now something is stuck. Give me an idea why this is so.

It's not clear if you are having problems downloading the maps shared here, or downloading using Garmin Express.
Tell use what device you have.

greetings friend if you can help. I got garmin drivesmart 50 lm and with it city navigator sotherm europe maps where there are no balkan maps where i live and where i would travel. if you can help how to insert maps on my device. thanks.
I did the part with the SD card and if I save the files to the computer and delete them and then insert the maps to the SD card and unlock them with gimgunlock-0.04 and put them back in the device but when the navigation starts it says it can't unlock

You are not using the "thumbs up" button so we can't tell where you have downloaded from, these maps are already unlocked.
Arrange the files on your SD card as the picture below

I must be doing something wrong. My Garmin came with the maps of the Navigator Southern Europe 2026.30. And on the SD card I inserted the maps that I downloaded from the Navitotal website and installed on Map Sources and unlocked on the computer using gimgunlock-0.04. And I put the SD card in the Garmin but it throws an error that unlocking the maps is not possible. If you can help me see where I am going wrong. Thanks

I would not try to make a custom map set with MapSource, normally used for older devices with limited storage.
Just download the Maps files and Additional files already unlocked as per my picture above

it worked. thanks. but the maps for the balkans are basically just the main roads. i have to look for detailed maps

If you used both North & South you should have detailed coverage of the Balkans, Southern Europe does not cover the same as South.

Welcome to the forum, please tell us what Garmin device you have as there are 2 different map types 1 for older devices NT & the other for newer devices NTU shared in this thread.
Greece & Italy for older devices exists in the NT Map thread

Accorging to Kenwood the KVT-729DVD is a car multimedia receiver that can be upgraded with an optional external Garmin navigation system unit, the KNA-G520. It does not have built-in Garmin navigation as a standard feature.
There is a section for Kenwood including KNA G520 using NT maps, what maps does it have currently
