can someone tell me whats the difference between q1 maps and q4 maps ty

I have tried to sort this myself but no joy after 3 hrs. I have Dl IGOH84BD. Formated my SD ( Fat ) and Fat 32) niether seem to make a difference. Booted my Device which boots to its original screen then i tap navigation and igo 8 starts. Its goes through the setup and seems to load ok. My problem is, loading maps. Has anyone else been routed incorrectly under a low bridge yet with the new 2012 Q1 navteq maps?

Hi guys im a total noob and need some help with my new gps system I received.

I currently have "Canada83_NT_2011.Q2_111004" for maps and "Canada_NT_2011.Q2_110721" for pois. They seem to be out of date and I've looked through the forums and seen alot of new maps and pois.

My problem is im not too sure which files I should update with. Can anyone please help me ???

I've bought a Nextar Q4-q4 unit from a local retailer, brand new in the box. I thought it was a good price. $49.00

However, after opening up the box, and getting it all setup, I found my maps all outdated. 2008 is the date on them.

After some searching, I found that Nextar has gone under, or was bought out by TomTom. However, They do not sell
map updates for this device.

Previously using iGo8 I had the option for 2D North-Up Navigation. With my new Primo 2 software I can select North-Up in Map view but once I am navigating along a route there is no North Up option. Is it possible to add a North Up option?

Hello! i`m interested in installing iGO 8 on MIO Digi Walker C 250.
The original software is MioMap v3, but as i read on this forum, you suggest that i replace MioMap with iGO, so i want to do that.
I search but i didn`t find any unlock fot this device.

I found maps with .fpa .ftr i .hnr files. What are those files??? Where do I put them? In folder map or somewhere else!?
