I'm new to this forum. Is there any way of uploading a map with this model of device either via home or MyDrive Connect possibly with an SD card without having to pay for it?

i have a Tomtom XL v9 that dont go past a red circle with a white cross, my friend was updating the tomtom and may have changed the bootloader and navcore but not sure.

what i have tried:
downgrade bootloader (0.0..0 and 0.0..1) - does nothing it cant read the file
full format the tomtom and restore from tomtom home
diferent navcore
tt clear flash
reset (30 secs on power)
etc

the current bootlader ...

I have a TomTom One with 2GB and I have installed navcore 9.510 with Benelux 980-7895
The problem is when I start the tomtom it restart it self after some time, then I have to confirm the security and it start up again until it calculate the route but then it stop and restart again
It always worked fine, what can be the problem ?

Hi , i have recently changed my sat nav from an xl to a via 1500 , i have tried to update the map but the device wont show up in file explorer on my pc , the device connects to TOMTOM home fine but i need the drive to show up so i can replace the map.Can anyone help please? Cheers.

I'm totally new to this stuff and I want to ask you what is NAVCORE for TomTom? Is it something like operating system just cracked and I can do stuff for free?

Can i install just a Map or Maps on my SD card and use the internal to activate it to run.
At present I have to install the whole navcore and associated files like META etc. onto my SD card and activate it there.
My TT is a 720 Model.
