Just bought a Tomtom Go 5200 WiFi because of the free lifetime services (maps, radar and traffic (via built-in sim).

First issue:
When reading some articles about it (maybe I should have done it before) I discovered that some articles
mention that "lifetime" means only FIVE years for Tomtom. :thumbdown:
Which (if correct) means that all the services on my Go 5200 will end in March 2022 ...

I'm a noob, a bit lost in this forum. I got my father's GPS, a TomTom One New Edition. I'm not able to see the navcore cause i can't boot it up, the offical SDCard seems corrupted.
So, I've downloaded TTcurrentconfig:

I have an old Tomtom with the original 660 UK *IR map (just a few years old lol). Is there any way I can install a more recent UK & IR map ? I will be using a new SD card as the current TOMTOM one is not that large. The ttfo.bif file information is shown below.

Has anyone overcome this issue where TomTom Home no longer supports older versions of TomTom models with SD cards.

I downloaded the latest Australia Map 985_8157 three times including Meta.

I updated the meta text as FastActive did not had the latest Australia 985_8157 meta.

I followed the directions on using FastActive, each and every time I get this message Incomplete Map(s) Australia - 101061. meta => .dct ERROR

Does anyone know what the problem is and how to overcome it?

I have recently bought a Tom Tom Go 720 from ebay.
I have updated the maps, speed cameras & postcodes and installed navcore 9.510 using Downunder's brilliant installer.
It took persistence getting familiar with the unknowns, but I found the answers, in time, on this fantastic community & website.

Just spent a fair bit of time trying to put tomtom navigator on to a Route 66 Chicago satnav. It is ce5. Attempted file renaming and / or including a shell, without success. Before I waste any more hours has anyone had success in doing this.
I have noted that some old information that may have helped is no longer available

Have got a problem with my TT XL (Classic). Power led comes on when USB lead connected. Have checked the SD card and also replaced the SD card, just in-case. Have replaced the battery with a known good one. Does anybody have an idea as to why it won't switch on? It was working fine until 2 weeks ago.
