I have a Tom Tom XXL GPS device and would like to get it updated.

It's 2 years old.

Does anyone know which current Tom Tom map for Australia I should obtain?

I may require other items such as speedcams, voice, plus whatever else might be required.

Any assistance on this would be most welcome.

Hi I have updated a few tomtom units and I most often have to change navcore to activate maps which is not a issue but on all the clear route button becomes inactive. Any help in trying to get this button working would be great it happens with all navcore's and maps.Thanks

Is it possible to install a version of the European Truck maps onto it. From what I can gather the bootloader needs to be updated, as well as the firmware. I am quite happy to do the research in your tutorials etc but don't want to waste my time if my unit is too old.

A friend of mine has bought himself a TomTom One and asked me if it is possible to upgrade the navcore and put a new map in it. I don't know what version it is because i haven't seen it myself and he doesn't know how to find it out either. Also i haven't found any information on TomTom One's anywhere.

How can i restore this to its orginal configuration , a mate of mine updated and patched the maps some time ago but has now moved
I tried to purchase a upgrade maps from tomtom but it wont let me.
I have the original SD Card with Maps 715 1703
Can i just insert the original SD card in and boot up ?

where do i get this file as it isnt in maps and isnt in the folder for the application?

Yesterday i update my tomtom application and added eastern Europe map.
Patched, activated and used in TomTom home but when i start my device without computer program i get error: "Problem with map. Y cannot use this map on this device: Eastern_Europe-788"
maybe i didn't add meta correctly?
