I have a TomTom one 3rd edition (1G) and am figuring out how to update the maps. The tutorial "What's the best navcore for my device?" suggested I use the official TomTom one, so I update it via TomTom Home (it was already current). According to the tutorial "3 steps to map heaven", I will now need to patch the navcore:

Each navcore will need to be patched to recognise your patched map(s)

My tomtom one xl has died. (charging pin broke)
I had iq routes with 9.051.503855.2 running
I want a tomtom which has a big screen & i need to update the maps (on here)
If it has a memory card slot its a bonus.
I also need to connect my bluetooth remote to it.
Which one shall i go for now ?
No more than £100 new or less if second hand.

I got TOMTOM GO 720 that keeps restarting, it was working normally untill, file autoactivate.exe 1.8.8 version was used on that TOMTOM in main root. After this, GPS starts up normally bar goes to the end and then it restarts, and it does that all over in a loop.

I have tried to do updates but TOMTOM HOME is not seeing any updates.

I don't have any backup files.

I do not know the navcore ...

Just checked on my TomTom Go 720 and was wondering what it all means.
Also can someone advise if it's okay

Quick post whilst I'm mobile - Ok, on my ONE 3RD Edition with UK&ROI 880 3810 map, I am getting some numbers and the letter 'm' in the top left of the display and just to the right of the '+'. They only appeared after I updated the map and the numbers are 'random' and go up and down:

I.e. 102m then103m, 104m, 103m, 102m, 101m, 100m, 99m

I can't really see what purpose ...

Hi all; following my success on getting TomTom on a Blaupunkt the other day, another friend asked me to have a go with his two oldish units. They are old Myguide units, but I had already put iGo8 onto both of them. I altered the addons.txt file on one unit running Wince5 with no problem, and the TomTom works fine. However, the unit running 4.2 is not playing ball!

I have added the 7.450 Navigator ...

Just a quick question.
What model of the TomTom unit first had Navcore 9.205 installed on it.

I did something stupid, like updated TT (TT one 3rd edition) to the new version( it came when I connected today to PC). now I cannot see any maps( basically red X) after turning on. Reset on the bottom did not help.... Any ideas how to bring it back to life????
