I have one big problem with my TomTom
I tried to update my maps.. I formatted the device under Windows.. but the files were coping too long..so I downgrade the bootloader to the 0.000 version ( One time It helped with TomTom GO) .. but now the LCD i white.. I can hear that everything Is ok .. I have a smaller LCD from TomTom GO - It works perfect! So i bought new ...

i own a few tomtoms and use a tomtom one for run of the mill journeys but use my tomtom go 530 for long distance and holidays. as i have a long journey coming up for a wedding i took my 530 from hibernation, charged it up and switched it on, only to find it showing the white cross on a red background. The computer sees it as a drive but wont communicate with it. ...

got this tomtom go 300 ,came with 128 mb sd card with uk map on it ,the new maps920.5241 are around 227 mb ,how can i shrink them to a 128 mb sd card

Just a little hint for those who like me having hard time with dct error on map activation.

Trying to get TOMTOM onto a device with Win CE6, got other map programmes to work but having issues with TOMTOM. I have TOMTOM working on other devices with no issues.
I put TOMTOM and navigator folders onto my sd card using a card reader, insert card into device and run TOMTOM to get a bif.file. I then remove card and put back into card reader into PC, i run Fastactive .

My TT one XL can't connect to satellites

It always says poor GPS reception are you inside a building

When i go to GPS status the blue and yellow ball that spins around don't move

So I updated it with TT home now have App 8.010 GPS v1.21 Boot 5.5022 and UK & IE v715.1689

Also with the update i installed a quick fix satellite but still won't connect to any satellites

I have installed new navcore (9.510) and map UK & IE v920 on my TT one XL

When it gets to the map and waiting for the GPS signal it reboots and then gets to the same place then reboots again

Please help
