Which TomTom for Truck maps?

Which TomTom for Truck maps?

Postby strahoo » Mon Jul 11, 2016 4:16 pm

Hi everyone!
I would like to buy TomTom sat-nav. It must be possible to upgrade map and using Truck maps. I don't know how much money I need to spend to get one. Any ideas and opinions will be appreciated. I could buy TomTom Trucker 6000 but it is too expensive for me unfortunately.

I have got now TomTom start 20, and TomTom Live 825. Too bad it can't be upgraded.

You need one with an SD card slot as maps keep getting larger so a GO x20, x30, x40 or x50 would be suitable and depending on condition, should be no more than £85 + the cost of a decent SD

agree with the above, go 730 is a good one to use, should pick up on in the price range, I have a go520 go530 go730 and can't fault any of them. be patient and one will turn up at a decent price. good luck.

Any unit on the market prior to Sept 2010, with at least 4GB of internal memory OR a SD slot. 9.702 is the current required truck navcore.
I do not give help by PM. It deprives our other members of a chance to learn. Please post your issue in the appropriate forum/thread. You will get an answer.
