TomTom go 740 live europe + how to upgrade to truck maps??

Hi all

I'm newbie in sat nav world and would like to upgrade my sat nav TT go 740 live to Truck maps.


Downloaded Europe TRUCK 915.5113 and really don't know what to do next. Now waiting for micro SD card from ebay to coming in next couple days to copy maps on to.

Pleas someone from you guys can give me step by step guide.

Doi need install new navcore?? if yeas how to do this?

Thank you I already downloaded maps and navicore and waiting for microSD card coming. Then will start upgrading my TT.

1. it is a NAVCORE
2. you might want to check the NAVCORE SECTION for Navcores ;)

Which navcore have you downloaded so far is it 9.701 truck.

yes 9.701 but so far still waiting for sd card coming by post.

Don't know really how to install navcore and should install navcore first and maps and all rest later??

sounds lot of reading need be done of this forum:)

You know that 9.701 is the current Truck navcore, & that it is not related to your issue.

Tendriver I just didnt actually understand of anything in my post it was a bit too complicated for me so I am just placing my bet on this fellow and hopefully I will get the idea like where am I going wrong.

If you guys can't even understand the tutorials and clear instructions here, that I suggest to do some reading first.
It is all pretty clear and easy to follow.

Guys I'm semi illiterate when it comes to this kind of stuff, read the tutorials and forum. I wrote a long note to self on how to activate maps years ago as a help guide if I had to do the process again.

Kind of irrelevant now, the activation tools these guys have made has simplified the process no end.
