News of Nissan/Renault

I expect this has been asked numerous times (sorry ) but is it easy using it to create a new map for my Renault Kadjar?
So far as i have seen it sems to overwrite original as in my case Tom Tom with a HERE? version is this correct or have i got my knickers in a twist.
Any help would be grateful.
