A new Garmin map has been realized for the Kenwood DNX8180DABS. Normally the device uses NTU maps. However, these new NTU maps do not work on this device, only if you copy the GarminDevice.xml from this device to an SD card and then download it via GarminExpress. I plugged in my SD card into Garmin Express was City Navigator North America NT 2021-Kenwood Update.

Searched the maps folder for this and did not find. How can I check to see if any of the other maps are compatible with my head unit?

How do I load this updated maps to a Kenwood DNX-9190DABS?

I have been using DNX571HD with unlocked maps from my LT unit. Firmware in it is 30.04.2015 Garmin Navigation Software V2.20.
05.04.2019 Garmin Navigation Software V2.30 is available now but haven't updated firmware over worries unlock maps my stop working. Does anyone know if this would be the case?

trying to get into testmode for DNX570HD. Manual says press reset+TEL button. It doesnt work. tried holding it, not holding it, TEL+RESET, RESET+TEL..all boot to the KENWOOD splash screen then the default SET screen. I need to see if the NVRAM for NAV checks out in my unit. I checked the Kenwood site and for similar models it advised putting the card in the nav console and then going to Setting>Maps>Update and this would put a ID on the card the would allow it to be recognised by Garmin Express. Problem is I can't find ...

I am hoping someone can give me some guidance here, I recently bought a Mitsubishi L200 with a Kenwood DNX4230DAB factory fitted.
It does not have any map card installed in the SD card slot, and when I press the nav icon on the touchscreen says 'no maps found'.
I am assuming that this device does not have any internal memory for maps, and relies on the SD card being present.

I've downloaded and installed (tried that is) the latest update I could find for a Kenwood DNX574S. It's not taking though. Any advice greatly appreciated!

Edit: The latest update I've seen for it is City Navigator North America NT 2019. I torrented and extracted as directed but nothing happens after inserting it into the system.
