i dont know from where to start. i have the model above . i flashed the firmware with garmincure and now the gps is not working. it does not let me update again with the firmware. fro onother site they told me to open my kenwood find the gps board and short 2 pins. does anyone know ? can anyone help me please....do you know any other way ?

I have downloaded and saved the Garmin Cyclops™ Safety Cameras file into the POI folder and set the proximity alerts but when I passed red-light, I would not get any sound alert. This file was about 115KB

A mate bought a Nuvi last week and I asked him for the camera.poi file, which was about 800KB and I saved as POI.gpi and now I get alerts with sound.

Don't know if Garmin Cyclops™ Safety ...

I have a problem with my kenwood dnx 7260bt and im out of options what to do.... really need your help guys..

I did all updates on my kenwood, bluetooth, firmware itself, and navigation, after that i put new maps 2012.40 via USB and everything was working fine until one day...

Almost forgot to mention, i ringed garmin and they gave me that 25 digit code to activate traffic i think its TMC ...

I am wondering if there is any way to get my favorite points backed up from this HU, I have been trying to make Backup copy with no success; I can connect the HU to my laptop via the mini usb located in the back as a mass storage device or Garmin mode, either way mapsource indicates that the device has no waypoints on it.

Does anyone know how to install new maps on a Kenwood 5260BT?
It's not like a xx20-series with a seperate USB port on the back, I will have to use a Micro SD card.
