What is the best way to connect to get Mapshare corrections to a patched map?
Is it wise to use TT home ? Can TT home see that you have downloaded a map that wasn't paid for?
When I use TT home my email address is shown.

Hi guys, ive recently borrowed my father in laws tomtom one xl and would like to add USA maps on there (just for florida)


My device is 8.010 (9369/080529)
at the moment it's loaded with english and irish maps - v715.1689

My question is how do I know which USA maps to load on to my xl one? There are so many!

Ive read various tutorials but still dont know the answer.

i installed navcore 9.701 and Europe 915.5113 map on my tomtom go 920 but just cant get the voices to work.
i dont understand what im doing wrong ive formatted the card and redone everything but still no luck.
the message i get is" none of the available voices can be used with the current language.you will not hear any spoken instructions."

I've tried to use fastactivator and get my config but it never actually finds the unit, please can someone help me as the map is from 2011 and it really needs an update to stop me from going into fields lol

I recently bought a TomTom GO LIVE 820, but sadly the map is outdated :/ ...
It's my first GPS, so i'm kinda a noob with all this ...
I was looking for several way to update the map ... official and other ones ...
i wanted to know if my tomtom is compatible with the map i can find here or the GO LIVE 820 is too recent ?

Trying to update current map. Have downloaded USA and Canada map
915.5074 and extracted files. Will put Map on new SD card.
Should I copy all files presently on SD card except Map and then run Automatic Installer and patcher with new SD card in computer?
