I manage to run iGO8.3.xx PNA version on my XDVDN8290 (2Din AIO unit) every thing works fine except sound :mad:

can some one help me how to fix this problem? :helpsos:

New to the forum & not particularly technically savvy so please be tolerant!

I just got a unit off ebay that runs Windows CE 5.0 & Primo on a Mediatek.

It seems to be unable to retain any changes I make.

Examples:

- It doesn't save the settings I choose via the wizard when I turn on (message: 'Error loading file: il8n/480_272/log_collection.xhtml' )

- When I click "Update & extras" which says: 'Error loading ...

I am currently using iGO primo™ v1.2 (9.2.1.179499) (Feb 15 2011) with the original skin. I have an issue that i am trying to solve but i can't. I need to edit the premium TA .poi file in order to have the default icons. It seems that they have put inside some icons that i do not like.

Does anyone know how to edit it?

Sunrise/sunset button:

In Primo 1.1 I can see the globe with a mark of my position and pressing the "info" button shows exact time of sunrise/sunset while in Primo 1.2 I can see the globe without my position and "info" button is greyed.
Does anybody have the same "problem" and is there any solution?

I search for IGO Primo 1.2 (15 Feb 2011) with Thai maps in the forum but not found, could anyone kindly help me to modify IGO Primo 1.2 use with Thai keyboard, sound Thai, and come with Thai maps (update Q1/2011) for PND WinCE 6.0 and Res. 480x272. Thank you very much krub.

I have igo8 on my navman s30 the problem is this.
When it boots up it goes through the navman splash screen starts to load igo8 but then goes back to the splash screen again, and again, and again it gets stuck in a loop.
Anyone got any ideas.

Ive sucessfully run iGO8.3.x on an emulator.
Ive tried with Primo 1.2, messed around with sys.txt, sys.ini, igo9.ini etc untill Ive made a real mess of it :girl_cray:

I can get it to 1/2 load by changing names in emulator to match the iGO8 names ie. folder called iGO8 (was Primo 1.2) Start file iGO8 exe (was mobilenavigator.exe)
Runs halfway thru Primo splash screen and drops ...

I really like this new Primo 1.2. Much faster, no lag in map display at all, more reliable, and the GPS point is very very accurate on the map compared to the last version, the little blue dot is not next to the road, but right on it exactly where i am all the time.

Hi, on my MyGuide 4328, I do not succeed to start igo8 from the shell menu.
Neither on the flash disc or storage card, but from win CE igo8 works from any support.
Tomtom works from any support and from anywhere...
The igo8 error message when starting from main menu is: "program application database cannot be found."
But for me igo8 is complete and works well when started from win CE...
What could be the ...
