I want to use TOPO maps in my basecamp, without connecting a GPS. I am struggeling with understanding the different file types and installing. Im hoping for some step by step dummy help.

Im not really sure i this will work with basecamp, or how to install it. What to do now? ...

Hello, I'm having white maps when I install diferent maps for mapsourse with cgpsmapper...
It's really difficult to make a good selection, this white map goes right when I zoom the map at 200km.
What's wrong here? Hope is the cgpsmapper but i'm not sure...

I'm updating my dad's nuvi 2515 to the latest uk maps.
I only have experience updating my tomtom.

I've downloaded the "UK & RoI: Image UnLocked" file from this page new-maps-f88/city-navigator-europe-ntu-2017-t18606.html

Is that the correct file and what other files will I need to download?

Hello friends, I've got a garmin nuvi 2659, it has the structure of the system hidden folder and the map folder.
Within the system folder it has a gmapprom and its corresponding unl (map of Europe) and within the map folder have a gmapsupp map (map of sudamerica).
I can not find the way to put new maps in it. It does not recognize the gmapsupp name within system folder , it's recognized gmapprom1 but ...

Hi I bought this from Amazon and collected it yesterday. We are currently on holiday an I don't have access to a computer. Is the unit supposed to come with maps pre-loaded? When I try to input a destination I get the error code 'no map data available'. Have checked the maps and there does not appear to be one present? It just says update maps. Am I doing something wrong? Can anyone help?

Sorry if this is a stupid question. Anyone know exactly what a gma file is? as in 'gmapprom.gma'

Is this an authentication file? Is it tied to the map itself, or can you add new maps without having a new gma file?

I have received from my mother in law her old Garmin nüvi 350.
The Garmin is outdated and has very old maps installed.

Is there a HowTo or an tutorial on how I can unlock the device and how to update the Maps and POIs.
If needed also newer firmware.

I have looked on the NaviTotal forum but I cannot find anything specific for the Nüvi 350
