I'm looking at purchasing a Eonon D5151, but I'm wondering if I should pay extra for maps or if its easy to install Garmin 2013 North American maps onto it. I don't want to buy it without the maps then find that I can't install maps on it.

there is no card id in my garmin xt installed in my mio c320, only device id. is it because of version of garmin xt?

Is there software available to delete individual poi's in a garmin nuvi 1350? I have some poi's which are duplicates and want to delete the duplicates but only get request to clear all poi's which i am afraid to do as I might delete the default poi's. Thanks to this forum, I know how to handle maps with Mapsource.
I installed mapsource (latest installed version and also SE portable) on my notebook and put the downloaded maps in c:\garmin
The maps are found with mapsource (SE) and I can transfer them to the SD card.

As some maps are huge and need lot of time to render,transfer..., I also installed mapsource (same version) on my Desktop 64bit.
But here, the desktop ...

When I updated my Zumo 660LM with Garmin Express, to the latest maps, the maps, were split between my internal memory and my SD card.

I would like to add the "CN North America NT" map as well. Where do I place the unlocked ".img" files on my SD card, not overwriting the Europe ones.

Have Garmin Nuvi 255w and in the last few days it has lost satellite signals on two occasions. Used to have Nissan Qashqai and never had any problems ,but now have Hyundai Tucson. Searched internet and someone had a similar problem , different make of car. Using CD player/ radio in car was the cause of loss of signal !! GPS sits on rubber gps mat above the radio/cd.

Will try switching off cd/moving gps ...
