I have an TomTom XXL (2003 - 2010).
I have formated the device and updated it using the newest TomTom Home 2 no the device wont boot just stits in the TomTom boot screen.
I tried manny methos Fat/Fats32 fast and slow.
Tried orginal navcores 8.56, 9.101 and 9.130.
Tried to change or downgrade boot loader but did not help.
I think the bootloader is the problem, i beleive it installed itself when i ...

other maps like benelux 885.4058 are cracked with the autoactivate exe--with no problems...
but the europe ones dont crack--
what should i do please ,u also have 2 know that i already tried with the auto patcher en installlinks-i did'nt work-

Hello All! Without wanting to appear that I am advertising tt7_keygen I find it is such a much simpler way for noobs like me for getting TT maps to work on my pda (HTC trinity with tomtom v7.45) than using the autoactivate even though the tutorial spells out the process!

tt7_keygen is a simple one line command run on the local drive "tt7_keygen.exe " and you just copy the map ...

I put 'Europe_1GB_West_885_4058' on my TomTom XL (8.014) and ran FastActivate_04.02.2012_Premium_edition_v1.8.8.1 (the latest version) and I get this 'You cannot use this map... message'.

Any clues as to what I should do to fix this please?

The files below are still valid and the info helpful, but I was able to create fully functional V7.3 Kate for TT.
All info on Loquendo mods can be be found in that thread : :link:
It might be helpful to create better voices for IGO/Primo too as they use similar engines.
Only major difference is that IGO uses a slightly different folder structure.

I have a XL2IQ (model 4ET03 - Canada 310), which originally had Navcore 9.151, with simple menus.

Another user (giovanno) in this forum (http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?2194-DSA-Navcore/page5&) recommended
"Navcore 9.136 Original XL2IQ full patched (New adaptation Tested)" with full menus - which I installed and works very well (only exception is day/night auto switch), and I´ve been using it for a couple months.
