1.Go to the old map folder and copy the MapUserPatch.dat file to your PC;
2.Then update your map to a new version or another map;
3.Copy the MapUserPatch.dat file from your PC to the new map folder on your TomTom;
4.Use the 'Operate my START/ONE/XL/GO/DEVICE' function in TomTom HOME. Calculate a route to any destination using the new map;

I have never had a problem in getting them to work before.
My TT device is a GO540 LIVE running 9.430.890926.1 OS 842337 BOOT 5.5.120
The last map i got working was 885.4009
Is it just a case of me not having the right map for my device or i am missing something ...

Hi peeps, shando here. A buddy pointed me in this direction, looks like a great site, however for some reason I can't download anything right now, broken links in TT tutorials, links greayed out when I try and DL the latest NC, what's going down?

I have a Roadcom RC400C Navigation. This works with Windows Core 5.0 and a SD Card with Route66 maps of the UK. I want to put a Europe or Benelux map on (doesn't matter wich one) but i'am totally stuck. I read some things about Hacking the device but it doesn't work for me (Maybe this isn't necessary). Who can help me on my way with this ?
