How to install
Show Spoiler
Use [Please Register or Login to download file] to generate code based on your devices ID number and details included.

1. Open JetMouse (Garmin_kgen_1.5+Fix.exe) and enter your Unit ID.39xxxxxxxx

2. Select '<Custom Mapset>' from the 'Select Map Product' list.

3. Check the box 'Enable additional fields (experts only!)'

4. Details included with each voice bundle
Family ID :
Product ID :
Region ID :
Vendor ID :

5. Press the LOWER 'Generate' button

6. Copy the generated code to the .unl file included and save do Not save as .txt

7. Connect your unit and copy the *.vpn & *.unl files to your 'Voice' folder.


Example : BertErnie.vpm and the unlock file you create BertErnie.unl in the Voice Folder on the device.
Use Simulation mode to check

Thanks. Downloaded everything but the Robot. I tried 3 times including the link alone and it just says we cant find the file.

Hey Just a quick question
Downloaded some voice files, but they are not showing up??
I wondered if they needed to be unlocked, i read somewhere you can create a unl
file to associate with the voice file?
Are there any instructions around telling how to do this>
from what I gather you need the FID and PID of the Voice file?
How do you get this?
Is there another way?
Any advice appreciated

I unlocked the voice files using jetmouse and using the FID and PID for each voice file.
Transferred them to my NUVI 1340 .
When i now come to change the voice on the NUVI the new voice files I added
do not show in the list of voices that show in the NUVI??
Any ideas why they do not show when trying to change the voice ??

From looking at your garmindevice.xml it looks like the .vpn & .unl files are not present in your Voice folder on the device.
7. Connect your unit and copy the *.vpn & *.unl files to your 'Voice' folder.

The show is 40 years old & these files are 10 years old :lol: , they are pretty boring compared to others ,don't speak street names & the company navtones has gone

i was wondering if you have the text file for the garmin robot it was not included in the rar package thanks again

Edit: So I just finally figured out the Garmin robot voice thing it was not a premium voice it's a pig tone voice it shows up under Pig tones GLAGPS2 I wish I would have known but oh well at least I got it figured out sorry for all the trouble turns out I already had it so now I have it twice

The how to install link in (show spoiler) doesn't appear to show anything. Can this be fixed please or can you assist on how to install these voices onto my Garmin. thank you
