I recently bought an vdo dayton ms4200rs for my youngtimer mazda 626 (94).
I know it's old and not very acurate anymore, but that doesn't matter. It's a nice looking system with good sound quality.
I just wanted a sort time period carradio.
I have 2 sets of original europe 2004 cd's and 2 original superode cd's (didn't vome with the radio)
The cd's load, but i keep getting the message, map not activated. ...

anyone has experience with ms 4200rs mo 4254????

We just got a Nissan Primera Stc from 2005 with a Dayton PC5400 unit.
It is connectet to the screen in the center consol, and i can see there is power on it and I can put a cd in it and all that.

But I dont have any menu on my screen?
The unit is installed by a company who does that kind of things in Denmark.
But the company is cloesd ...
