I have 2 StreetPilot 2720. Currently I have CNNANT 2012.40 installed. I have attempted to install CNNANT 2013.40 using gmapprom.img. hey guys, so i was thinking about buying a GPS for my car... but then i realized... my phone already has a big enough screen, could i just use that for my everyday GPS usage? what are some of the pros and cons of using my phone's GPS vs. i guess.. a real GPS?

I'm trying to do a favour for a mate.
He wants "Kitt" as a voice on his "unaltered" XL.

I've downloaded the files from here :-

I've copied the 3 data84 files to his "Voices" folder and created the .dct file using BBS Tools in the same folder. I can't see "Kitt" in the list of available voices on his TT.

Does anyone know why this might be?

I like to replace the original internal map of my Zumo 210.
When I look at the files and folders inside, I see that the total memory is 4GB.
2GB is used by the map, and the rest is free.
The visible files on the Zumo only take a few hundred MB. So the map is not visible.
Somehow Garmin made it invisible.
