Hi, this may be an open ended question, i havent updated my uk maps for a couple of years or the navcore on my tomtom one v1, whats the best version of navcore and maps to go for without making it sluggish?

The one one i have current installed seems to be a bastardized version of iGo 8 but with some other little bit of crap added in. I have tried for the around the last 5 hours ...

maybe someone knows this... i tried everything with no luck,,

i just dont want the "offer freeway services" on my map appearing when driving,,,

in the Visual Guidance Settings, i unchecked "offer freeway services" ,,,

but they still appear on my map while im driving,,,,

is there a setting in the sys.txt i can play with to disable them from appearing??

Can anyone help? I have a Garmin Nuvi 775T. Does anyone know if this device supports unicode? I have found a torrent to download the 2015 maps in unicode (currently downloading) but don't know if I can use it (also downloading non- unicode 2014 maps just in case).

I accidentally formatted the internal flash disk from a NUVI 465T.
I have not made a backup.
What should I do?
note: I confused the flash disk with the SD Card using the SDFormatter utility.

I am using primo2.4 ver 9.6.13.405512.

If i load the diMka_WA_P174 skin and then go to settings/map settings/place markers to set the POI's, as i scroll through the place markers then once i have scrolled two pages on selecting the third page i get the message "failed to open POI_MAPCLOSE.spr exiting application".

If i do not load a skin, or i load the "Decent color ver 6.5.1" skin this does not happen.

Can anyone tell ...

Is it possible to create your own alert points? Obviously speedcam etc is already there, but I would like to add some others that aren't POI's.
