is this ok to put on the latest maps from site or do i have to change the navcore

Juste an advice. I've got a 8.417 navcore which works well with a 8.70 Europe South Map, and a 2Gb SD Card.
I want to upgrade to 9.XX maps. Is it better to upgrade to a 9.XX navcore ? I've understood I have no choice : upgrade to 9.X navcore if I want 9.XX maps.

Which navcore 9.X to use ?
