Hi all I came across a very interesting post the other day on Blue Badge Points of Interest (POI) for the TomTom. (http://www.thepieguide.com/services/satnavpoi)

This would be every so handy if anyone could point me in the right directions as to where I could get a hold of a copy of the data file. Also would that need activating through the usual methods? (fast activation)

i have a tomtom one widescreen with 32mb ram. nav 9....when i go into the settings it shows i have 3mb ram free. is there a way to free some of that up or is that the way it is ??????? thanks

I just installed the new Truck-map on a SD for my TT-One, with the correct nc but TT is not starting with the SD-card in its slot.
SD-card out ... TT starting ... after startup sd-card in ... no problem, up and running.

What's going on ?

What is the latest Tomtom I can install on my F&H?

I have the 7.450 working fine.

On my brotheres unit I did get 7.910 installed BUT I cant ifnd the files anywhere now(the pctailor and satnav sites are gone)

I'm having problems patching the tomtom home app as per the tutorial. I've let tomtom home download the new app and i get the message about the map being incompatible with my device. I quit tomtom home and run the keygen but i get the above error message. Have tried repeating and rebooting with no ...

I just got my go720 working very well on the 9.205 navcore with the new maps. I know it is possible to leave the original navcore on the internal memory and run the newer navcores on the SD card. How would I go about doing this? (which files need to be copied, etc...)

I have a TT GO 910. I downloaded a map and copied over to my TT. I placed the fastactivate.exe in the root as directed, but it did not work (i.e. the map wasn't activated). The directions don't really explain step by step the screens that open and what you should see and I tried to look up about the meta file but can't seem to find on this site where you find that, etc. ...

Now for the future: my renewal for the phone is coming up and I wanted to switch to either Android or Windows Phone 7.
