I've been thinking about upgrading the Navcore on my One XL 32mb from 8.414 to Navcore 9.

I have two questions :-

(1) Is it really worth doing?
(2) Is there a downside? I've heard that Navcore 9 is less RAM friendly.

My TomTom is a bog standard device. Nevertheless, it get's me from A to B successfully and I've got TTS working. I'm not interested in traffic updates (etc).

I downloaded and extracted both the application and video tutorials. Watched the videos, then attempted to launch the program.

The program would not lauch and posted this error message

Componet MSINET.OCX or one of its dependancies not correctly registered:a file is missing or invalid.

Please advise next step

Hello!

I update my Rider II and my Go630.
I'm using on my Rider Navcore 9.205 and Europe 860.3102
and on my GO630 Navore 9.160 and Europe 865.3244.

Now I've trouble with my house number. Before I update my Rider, there was Western Europe 710.XXXX installed and my housenumber was in there. Now in every new map of europe or else the street is without my HNR.

Can anybody tell where the Problem is?

Out of interest - I have just loaded my Go520 with Navcore 9.205.547817 and map 860.3101 using Autoactivate on the device to activate. When I connect to PC/TomTom Home I'm told I have application version 8.398 and map 860.3101 Is this right? (I was expecting Home to say I have version 9.xxxx)

hi i have a tt one xl v1 i think downloaded the 865 maps from here and fastactivate moved map and fastactivate to tt ran fastactivate and it says something about the map is activated but tt says no maps what have i missed??

did hav a tt one v3 and i managed to do that ok

the other day I added some maps and voices to my TT One XL-S (64 megs ram; 1 gb internal) from this site for my upcoming trip to england + france; did the fastactivate thingy, etc. Everything works fine except for the computer voices. When I select them they don't work. In fact they de-activate all the other non-tts voices after I do this. I can reactivate the non-tts voices by pushing the reset bottom ...

I have a Go 530,with8.351 navcore.I have just updated the uk and roi map from 860.3101 to 865.3245 on the internal drive with no problem.On my SD card i have Iberia 860.3101 and western and central europe 860.3101.
I have downloaded iberia 865.3245 ran autoactive but when i change maps it just freezes.also with the SD card in the unit freezes on the start up screen.I have restored to original sd maps and ...

i've managed to get miopocket 4.0 on my magellan maestro 4010 (wince 5.0),
had to use the softbutton, and make it run mioautorun.exe to get it to work the first time, took me ages to figure out lol
if that makes sense! lol
