I recently updated to the Uk & ROI 860 maps using the autoinstaller and then a couple of days later when the 865 map came out I upgraded by copying it to my device and then using one of the activators. I have also updated the fuel prices and safety cameras since then.

Tonight I plugged the device into my computer and TomTom Home opened and asked to update eithe the device or the TomTom ...

Map W&CE 865.3246 is stated to support speech recognition.
Can anyone tell me how to get it to work on my HTC (Win6.5) smartphone, if it's possible?
There is no information in the TomTom Navigator Manual.

Hi.I have tomtom one xl 4s00.006 32mb device.Im found good navcore 9.058 .I have 9mb ram free and if im put computer voice i have 6 mb free.Problem is tomtom home.I can operate device in tomtom home but if start home I see you have invalid version of tom aplication.Im change line in ttgo.bif and save in ttgo.bak

I updated to Navcore 8.412.1236 and map V845.2647 and the satnav works fine, but I've never used postcodes before.

I now need to use the postcode function. When I go Navigate to/address/postcode and enter the UK postcode nothing happens, there is no 'Done' button?

Any suggestions please?

Hey all, I was trying to update the maps was stupidly in a hurry did not back up my default files and now everytime I boot the map comes up but it cannot find a signal. Just curious if I bricked my unit. Or is that even possible? Pretty new to the Nav world in terms of updating / editing etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

This is what I have. I am very confused in this huge forum. Can someone tell me if there is a place where I can download newest maps and not pay for them. If I wanted to pay for them i would update with TomTom.
If it's not possible then that's ok and i won't be back here.

Following my Post "Updating Boot file for a SDHC in a GO500" which I solved and the post has been 'closed'.

Although everything is working OK, apart from; When the Tomtom is turned off/shut downf and then it will not restart unless I remove and re-insert the SDHC card.

This also applies to my TT, which I thought it was just a card slot problem. But now it appears the same problem is on ...

When I have my go 530 on transmitter so it gives instructions through the radio it keeps cutting out when a radio station is picked up.The only way I can stop this is by playing a a mp3.I dont always want music so is there a way I can record a silent mp3.
