I'm using TomTom XXL540 and have the latest map for Australia.

I'd like to provide the metacode for others on this great site.

I have read the section that said use option 5.

Question is, Do I need to use or run FastActivate.exe to see my map within TomTom to generate the code , is it the code or map and code that needs to be uploaded , which section do I upload it ...

Does anybody know how i go about downloading the latest maps for my TT7150pro? My current maps are 01/2012 v8.85 and could do with updating. From what i've been told normal Tomtom don't support 7150pro's?

First off, this site is such a wealth of knowledge, thanks.

I am trying to update our GO 720 with 940_5963 but it is failing with, "write error in the file USA_Canada 940_5963\poi.dat Probably the disk if full". Can anyone shed light on this? To the best of my knowledge I have followed the steps as outlined in the tutorials to the letter.

just a quick question. i've been on tomtom home twice tonight and found it automatically does a back up of device. The skip back up is no longer available.Tomtom home hasn't done an update as far as i'm aware, so what's happening.

Ok I give up. I have worked on this for 5 days. Read all the tutorials and followed instructions. I just can't make it work.
I have a TomTom One 3rd edition 1gb
I downloaded Dowunder's 9485 Navcore installer. Installed without problems.

I have a TomTom XL.

I think that I can update my map to: Australia_935_5744

But if I'm wrong about that, would appreciate a heads up.

I'm not able to download this map. I end up on a Linkcrypt page that says "Authorizing". There is a submit button, which I click on, but nothing happens.

Any suggestions?

I was recently given a tomtom start 1EX00 that was freezing on the start screen. After many attempts at formatting and installing different cores I formatted it to fat and connected it to tomtom home2 on my pc. Home2 updated it to navcore version 8xxx and then a further update to version 9.057. I then installed "United Kingdom and ROI 905.4800_Installer" from a link on this forum (thanks) I then ran the latest ...
