Model: TOMTOM RIDER. ICES-003 CLASS B IC:5767A-RIDER
N14644
FCC ID: S4Lrider
I think it is first edition. It have only SD card memory, no internal memory.
Without SD dont work.

Put an empty SD-card in your cardreader
Copy your ttgo.bif file to the SD- card
Open it in notepad
Delete the numbers in both these lines:

ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=

ApplicationVersion=

and save the file

Start TomTom Home.
A navcore will be installed to your SD-card
Follow the instructions given by TTHome.

Maybe you have to update more than once to get the latest navcore for your device

After updating your navcore, patch it, put a map of choice on it and activate it.

make sure you use a good quality SD-card.

Good luck

In this case, this is not a very good procedure. The latest navcore for a Rider 1 or 2 is 7.903.
Downunder has posted modded 9.XXX navcores that work well on the older Riders.

@tendriver

Both the automatic installer and a copy of his 1gb SD-card didn't work. The TTHome option is just for testing. If his device doesn't start with his original navcore, he probebly has problems with his 2gb SD-card.

Cause in this case, quality matters.

A modded navcore 9 for the rider is next step.
