I've been searching for hours trying to find the sys.txt files in IGO 8. I found them a few years back and did some great stuff with them, but this time I just can't find them. Could someone please advise me.

First of all let me just say thank you SO MUCH for this site. It has been extremely helpful and it is the best resource I've found for GPS information.

I own a Flyaudio DVD/GPS/all in one unit.
I believe it runs on Windows CE 5.0.
I have the IGO program writtein on a 2GB Kingston MicroSD.

I followed the guide from here and downloaded the recommended files: http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?3521-Guide-to-install-iGO-Primo-on-devices-with-Windows-CE-core.

i have major problem in finding addresses,
which is after putting the City & Street i have
to put the "Intersecting Street" then the House #.
But every time after i choose the "Intersecting Street"
i CAN'T choose the House #!!!!!!!!!!!!! some times it's OK
but most of the times the "Intersecting Street" is big so have
to find the house my self, & i really need this feature in my line
of work, ...

Wherever there's more than one poi, I don't see the designated poi icons but three blue balloons just like in the pic. I tried o disable it using the following line in sys.txt but didn't work.


use_multi_poi_icon=0

What can I do disable it so that I can see the brand poi icons for them?

Hi,

When I have put in a destination I have the road I'm currently on displayed on the bottom of the map screen and the next road I'm going to on the top. I want to loose this next road name on top as if means that the dem file isn't displayed fully. Do you know where I can change it within settings so the next road name isn't displayed at all?

As iGo somehow can't set the time automatically, I set my own time zone from the list provided. This shows the time correctly in the panel menu. However the Automatic switch from Day to Night (CLUT inversion) is very erratic or doesn't happen at all - meaning it stays on night all the time. I suspect it is still taking China time despite the fact that the time displayed is correct. I've disabled GPS time ...
