Hello everybody, i'm new to the whole nav thing. Yeah i have installed miopocket or visual gps to multiple mio/navman systems including the nav systems(igo/primo/tomtom etc etc). but that was easy.
i dont realy think this is to difficult too, but i'm new and cant see the forrest trough of the trees

My father in law has a garmin nuvi 250 with old 2006 or 2008 maps on it. so i dedided to update it ...

My Garmin Nuvi 370 randomly turns off. It has a full battery bar showing yet it will randomly turn itself off and it does the same thing if it's on battery power, plugged into the computer via USB or hooked up to the car charger.

It was working fine a few weeks ago until i decided to update it. My Nuvi 370 is about 3 years old and the maps were out of date, so ...

How do I copy the files from my garmin GB discoverer SD card onto another SD card, I put the SD card into my pc but it shows as blank when i know the maps are on there? The card is a genuine garmin not a downloaded one.

I've a Garmin 1310T, I added on the SD card/Garmin folder one generated UNL file (gmapsupp.unl) for travel guide (LEX_PKG) and I need to add as well an unloked CN image map in the same Garmin folder that also required another unl file under the same name (gmapsupp.unl) which is not possible without replacing the old one.

Is there any smart solution for this? Like renaming one unl file for example to (gmapsup2.unl) or ...

I installed 7" widescreen 800*480 64 mb ram 400mhz Chinese multimedia system in my car, the problem is when i select poi's it comes crossed all over each other & makes it hard to read.

I have a Nuvi660. Many files in the storage are corrupted probabaly due to an update. Now it doesn't work properly due to missing some system files. I ran a disk scan from my PC and found lots of corrupted files. I believe if I can find those files from another nuvi660 and copy them over it will work again.
