hello. for the past few updates, i have difficult issues with address searching on my streetpilot 2820. i cant find even cities but all seem fine with maps on the screen. what kind of firmware update is needed? or where am i making mistakes? thx in advance.

drivesmart 61 patched 4.3 firmware can cause GPS get into bootloop
Hi, I just want to share something.
my drivesmart 61 previously has patched 4.1 firmware, everything is fine until the 4.3 version...

I patched the 4.3 and drop into GPS and flashed successfully.then:
1. smartphone link cause gps to shutdown
2. normal road routing can cause gps get into bootloop, UNUSABLE...

i downgraded to 4.1 patched using updater.exe and then upgrade to official untouched ...

I have been searching for a cable to power my Garmin in car.

My current power cable plugs into a cigar lighter port and connects to the windscreen sucker pad holding the garmin.

Hi, I updated my Nuvi 3590LMT the other day via Garmin Express (Lifetime free Map), and now it won't boot up past the logo, when it reaches the logo it beeps, and switches itself off. I tried to reset it, but it refuses to do so, and beeps at the same point, as when trying to boot.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I am quite skilled updating TomTom systems, but know close to nothing to do so with Garmin systems.
A friend of mine asked me to help him with updating his Nuvi52 Western Europe.

First of all, is this possible?
Can I just copy an unlocked map image and that's it?

I see some maps are marked wit NT and some NTU, or as IMG or Gmap...
What are the differences and which one ...

Do you know how to get spoken text alerts, like for example:
"speedlimit is 50" if you ride to fast, or
"speedcamera in 500m"

I can barly hear the alerts due to the "Bong" sound and the low volume of this sound.
In the settings all selections are set to 100%

I have a Garmin Drive 50LMT, and whenever I connect the charging cable to my car's USB port, it immediately goes into MTP mode. I.e it shows the screen with the orange icon showing the device connected with a cable. I have a lot of trouble trying to get it back to viewing maps.

Is there a hack or a way to permanently disable MTP mode, so I can just have it charging ...

Hello. I downloaded city navigator 2019 NT and now i have lots of img files and i can see them on mapsource but all goes well till i cant search any address on my device. It says '' no detail map installed'' Any help would be appreciated.
