Hello, I'm having trouble connecting my Garmin Nuvi 2447 GPS to my PC. I've tried three different cables, including the original one, but nothing works! Do you have any ideas? Thanks.

My nuvi 760 has firmware version 4.70. which limits me to a maximum map size of 2GB. I understand I can upgrade to version 5.40, which would increase the maximum map size to 4GB.

1. Are there any other advantages to making the upgrade?

so Garmin did stop using .img for marine chart.
They use a gma at the root with a folder name Charts that containt 2 folders Tiles and a RDPs. In the RDPs got the id of the map and a .SRPD file.
Did i miss a big release note ? Anybody got more info.

Anyone know if it's possible to put saved tracks (.gpx files) on a Dezl 780LMT-S and have them displayed on the map?

I managed to get my custom waypoints (.gpx) sort of working by putting them in mtp://Garmin_dezl780_0000ecd35337/Internal Storage/Garmin/.System/GPX/ (plugged into a Linux system), but they won't work if just putting them in mtp://Garmin_dezl780_0000ecd35337/Internal Storage/Garmin/GPX/, they must be in the .System/GPX/ folder.
They can then be used ok as destinations when navigating.
