Do I put it on an SD card or directly on the device, and which maps to use for the IGO8 version?

I just updated the maps for the Becker Map Pilot M013. I updated them by copying all the new files over my original ones. After installing it in the car, I noticed that the language was different from the one previously set, but I changed it to English.
