You have to make some changes :
Edit the files move and move2 with a Unix Editor like Notepad++ and change ...

I changed my map last year, I have a 2gb sd card in it now. looking to install United_States_2gb_850.2782. Don't know if I can use this map. Not sure how I did it last year. Thanks

:smilie_h_001: I'm having some issues with multiple maps on my SD card, have two maps on it, but the garmin unit only find one, have tried to rename it like GMAPSUP2.IMG and GMAPPROM.IMG nothing helps,
on the Garmin unit there is also two maps that works,
3 maps out of 4 works, what i'm I doing wrong????

Here are some tutorials on how to dismantle your device without breaking it.

ONE
SD card for ONE 3rd
Go 700 and maybe 300 and 500 are similar
Go X10 models useful to replace the HDD
Go X20 and X30

For other models the procedure is somehow like for the other models.

Can I get the details on how to add more memory to the One?

Hello to everyone! Please Help

Let's say I buy a Chinese device which runs Windows CE 5.0-6.0..
Most of these devices is multifunctional (GPS, MP3 player, MP4 player, e-Book reader, games) and has its own interface. Also this devices run iGo, TomTom, Route66... but not GARMIN!!!

My Question is: 1. How to install Garmin on such a device???
I know we need to use CeRegEdit to get Windows environment..

2. What to do so Garmin ...

I wonder if there's anyway to remove those legends when you start the GPS, I mean the one that comes with the maps.

Example: if I install some argentinian maps when I start the GPS it will show a legend under the Garmin logo, if I delete the gmappsup file it won't show anymore.

Wich tool should I use? thanks a lot.
