Thanks for listing the files. So far Ive backed up the old Sd card. Installed a new 8 GB sd and restored the backup. I download the UK & Ireland map with TTActivator, updated the meta data & activated the map. I aslo used fastactivator, the first 3 options.
The UK & Ireland map still dosent show. I still have the original Europe map that works.

I think im close but Im still missing something, Im not sure what.

It has been a very long time since I used a Rider 2.

The normal procedure I followed will not differ much from what you did.
Provided the Navcore has already been processed—otherwise your Europe map wouldn't work—I proceeded as follows:
Remove the SDHC card from the Rider 2 and just control it directly via the PC
Retrieve the latest map
Retrieve the latest meta codes
Start Fastactivate and execute option 1 first; that action doesn't work properly anymore, but you are offered a meta code file.
I don't know where those meta codes come from now
I have been hosting Fastactivate for P33dro for years, but I lost him a few years ago.
What is certain is that those meta codes do NOT come from me anymore.
I do have them on my other server, along with all the speedcams.
I have noticed that when you skip option 1, Fastactivate does not execute the patch.
So, immediately after using option 1, replace the meta code file with the one from fredderf or from another reliable location.
The rest you know already how to handle

I strongly suspect that is your only problem.
If it still doesn't work and you need other software or components, the fastest way is via [email protected].
When the the files aren't too large, I can possibly send it via email, otherwise on a separate section on one of my servers.

Good luck.

Thats it working now. I had no problem with the meta codes using TTactivator 1.6. But your tip on using the SDhc card outside the device made things so much easier with formatting a transfer speeds.

I copied bootloader v5.5120 onto a blank card & flashed the device.
- Then copied my backup onto the card, (minus the bootloader file) - then copied the entire contents of Navcore 9501, overwriting any files with the same name.

- TTActivator 1.6 sorted out the meta files, map downloads, speed cameras & activation.

I probably didnt need to restore my backup to get it working but theres things on there from my Dad when he had it - I want to keep.

Very happy to get this unit up & running, thanks for all your help pe1agp.
