. I deleted the old map folder, and a new folder that was created called 'maps' which has one file in. In Tomtom home, clicking 'update my device' did nothing, but opting for 'uipdate map' works. However, it now tells me that I need an external SD card as there is not enough space on the 730 :-(. presume this is because of downloading the latest updates...Tue Jun 22, 2010 3:33 am

I tried the clear flash tool, but on a 2GB drive, I only have 1.28 GB free - not enough for the new maps. Maybe I'll just throw the SD card in and use that and see if I can get it working.
Any recommendations on Navcore and map combo for the UK & ROI?

. I appreciate the UK and ROI is a lot smaller than Western Europe, but as it was an original map with a guarantee (albeit only to 845) then I thought i'd try it. I also had Iberia on my SD card and thought the Europe map might replace that as well.Tue Jun 22, 2010 1:52 pm

Hotpants wrote:It is indeed, but as I also had an Iberia map that I will be using later this year, I wanted to do a comparison test. I'm quite interested in the new UK & ROI 850.2781 map, as there is reportedly an extra 3,000km of road improvements in Ireland, and as I will be travelling there also, I wanted to see the differences in the Europe 845 and UK & ROI 850.
