Search here for all 1160 maps without WinSCP

Thanks but this link doesn't work anymore. I tried searching this site and that didn't work. Can you please clarify what you are trying to direct me to and how? TIA.

If it were that dangerous I wouldn’t be here anymore.

I don't like to install software I don't understand, keeps me safe. Doesn't anyone on this site have a file that is more easily accessible? I tried what the other guy kindly provided however the link doesn't work.

Thank you to all of you for your help so far, it is much appreciated.

I'm afraid we can't help you if you're not willing to follow the instructions given here.
The https link works perfectly fine, it might take a little longer for you to receive all the data.
I offer you two options. I can't make it any prettier. At most, I could drop it in your mailbox, although I'd love to visit the UK sometime, by car or motorcycle. With 81 on my odometer, that's not an option for now.

Unfamiliarity with a program should never be a reason not to try it. After all, you still have to use Fastactivate or TTactivate, for example. Who can guarantee that nothing will happen with those?
WinSCP is nothing more than a program that still supports the FTP protocol. It's disappeared from Google Chrome. When I test Edge, I'm also asked if I should start WinSCP.

Give WinSCP a try; you'll see a screen with two sections similar to Total Commander. One of them shows the contents of one of my servers. Make your selection, and your selection will appear in that other window, which you can place anywhere on your PC.

Again, I can't make it any better.

I've tried this several times in several ways, it literally doesn't, with respect. But thank you anyway. I shall try another site for TT speed cam updates before messing around with WinSCP.

Can you clarify your earlier comment, in regards to safety of WinSCP, is this connection between my computer and the server it is going to encrypted like TOR? Is my ISP able to view what I am downloading? TIA

You've been a member here since 2019, so you must have gained some experience with what other members offer.
Have you had any negative experiences during your membership?
The goal here is to help everyone as much as possible.
That requires a certain amount of trust.

To answer one question: how on earth am I supposed to check what your ISP provider logs?
As long as you're paying, that provider doesn't care what you download; they only want to make money.
So, try it or leave it; the choice is yours.

I can give you one more piece of advice: get off the internet if you don't want to experience any problems.
Turn off your smartphone because I get some unbelievable offer every week where I'll be a millionaire within 24 hours.
So, that was two pieces of advice instead of one.

dct map error

Sat Feb 28, 2026 7:01 pm

My TOMTOM XXL IQ ROUTES updates 1155 maps( NAV2 high-level-u and optimized nav3 maps) and speedcams without a problem but when i am trying to update 1165 maps ( NAV2 high-level-u and optimized nav3 maps) i am receiving dct map error. Meta already exists, i have last fastactivate, meta.txt with all metas but the dct error insists.
If i make a combination of 1155 and 1165 map, 1155 is activating but 1165 no. Any idea what happens?

Give TTactivator a try. A few days ago, I had the same problem with a TomTom belonging to an acquaintance of mine.
The map in question was Benelux_1165_13080.
Don't forget to place the latest meta.txt file in the TTactivator folder, because it's almost never up to date.

Rename meta.txt to mymeta.txt
