Hello everyone,
I recently bought a replacement motherboard for my Garmin DriveSmart 61 LMT‑S because my original board was broken.
The new board works and the device powers on, but it only shows the message:

“System Software Missing”

Garmin Express does not detect the device, but Windows shows it as a Garmin Device in the Device Manager.
Does anyone know how to correctly flash the firmware (RGN) onto a new board or where to get the correct file for the DriveSmart 61?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This is assuming the new mainboard is HWID 2588 and not from APAC HWID 2996

Try to recover the garmindevice.xml so you can confirm the HWID by using this on a FAT 32 formatted SD card less than 32 Gb
