Sorry, I couldn't check the files which you had sent earlier, as I was out of town. But, unfortunately, I tried both the links that you mentioned, but they did not work. The destcore.dll file from [Please Register or Login to download file] made the system report that the map file was corrupted. And the destcore.dll file from [Please Register or Login to download file] caused the Navigation system not to start at all.
See if you can help me further. All help would be highly appreciated.

I replaced the Destinator version 9.0.21.21 to 9.1.21.10.6 which I downloaded from the net. And with this version, the destcore.dll file that you had sugessted - worked !!!

Thanks to your help, I am now using a FULLY WORKING version of Destinator 9, in which I need not even patch any maps before using them. There is a small problem though. Hope you would be able to sort it out for me.
My GPS device has ONLY 500 MB of internal memory. It does have an SD card slot wher I have a 2GB SD card inserted. So as to run North America Maps, I need about 1.2 GB of space for the maps. This is not possible from internal memory. So I copied the maps in the SD card. But the software - which is installed on the internal memory - fails to detect the maps on the SD card. Could you please guide me, how to make the Destinator file access maps folder from the SD card.
I know you would have a perfect solution for my problem.

Always work fine except speedcam files. Impossible to activate them in destinator 9. Someone have same problem or can explain how to do this ? thx in advance for your help.

I'm happy that you have managed to make it work! However I'm not a expert. And I'm IGO user.
Anyway I can try to help you:

I think that you need to put your map folder in Destinator folder to run. So the best way to solve this is to copy all files (software included) to SD Card and run.
Now the whole thing runs from the storage card.

Have you got your GPS unlocked with Miopocket or anything like that? Cause I have my gps unlocked with Miopocket and all navigation software ( IGO, DESTINATOR, TOMTOM, POLNAV) installed and runnig from SD Card.
With Miopocket I have a window on start up with icons to open several softwares and I can set where they are installed , on internal memory or sd card.

Did you try to copy the software with maps in the same folder on SD Card?

What GPS brand do you have?

on the first message of this tread you've uploaded a full version of Destinator 9 but it can't be downloaded because
the site responds that the file is private.
Can you please fix it or upload again?

One other small question:
What needs to be done when Destinator responds "MAP FILE IS CORRUPTED!"?
Should the map files be converted somehow?

What country map are you downloading? Did you try download them again? I don't think you need to convert maps if you get the right destcore.dll version.

Did you tryed another destcore.dll files like these ones:

Please try these destcore.dll with the 3 Destinator versions.

I'm not a Destination user so I need to test it on my GPS to see if I have the safetycam working.

Anyway as far as I know ( and sorry I don't know much ) this is an issue and people are having problems with that.

You may try:

Move (if you have one ) SafetyCam folder on \Destinator\UserData\Content to \Destinator . If don't create one and copy your SafetyCam content .

The safetycam folder has some png files ( speed icons ), safetycamicon.ini , safetycam.dat

I've heard people who to copied the safetycam folder from Destinator 8 with updated safetycam.dat file and works.

Did you set the Destinator to show alerts under NavSet - Cameras ?

I've downloaded your full version, but it doesn't work on my unit (MIO C310).
I am using version 9.1.21.7 and tested it with all the DLL files you suggested, but still it has the same response (i.e. maps are corrupted).
I have several maps which I downloaded from the site like UK, Mexico, Hawaii, Argentina and others.
I had this working a few months ago but now something has changed.

I'd appriciate any tip regarding the problem, or if you can upload a full version with at least one map (doesn't matter
which one at the moment), it could help. I'll download and test it (all I'll need 320X240 resolution and WINCE 4.2 dll files).

Just to let you know that my GPS is a Mio C310 ! And are working!!
I've it installed on SD Card.

Well at least was working.My C310 is not working very well ( touchscreen problems ) so I don't have the sd card with me.
When I come back home I'll upload the version that is working on my C310 for you.

Sorry that did not work.
The solution I have read on several forums is that the "SafetyCam" folder ( with speedcam files of your country inside) must be inside Destinator folder .
Did you try to change the speedcam files? Do you know if your speedcam files are compatible with your Destinator software?
I can't figure out what is happen . If I find some information about it I'll post here.
