Navcore 9.510

Navcore 9.510

Postby Downunder35m » Tue Apr 23, 2013 2:22 pm

Here again my installer, this time with the 9.510 NC.
Included in the installer are the following versions:
1. just the patched CAB - for all of you that just want the new Navcore on a compatible device - no emulations offered!
2. for GO models with 64mb of Ram - all GO emulations included
3. for 32mb devices - can't promise the memory boost will work as expected since TT used a new kernel
4. Hard wired sound, for all models that have trouble getting sound out of the TTS voices

There are too many navcores to list them all. If 9.2XX, 9.4XX, 9.700 & 9.8XX are compatible with all maps, then logic & interpolation tells us that 9.5XX is also compatible with all maps.

Not used this navcore on the road yet, but i see the warning time in seconds can be altered to speed cam alerts once again, a very useful adjustment i find.

Does RDS/TMC, on a GO, work with this navcore along with the ability to turn off spoken guidance, leaving warning sounds on?

Will try tomorrow, meanwhile, is PNDNavigator required or do I just have a left-over file? I get about 2MB more free RAM over 9.143 (or was it 9.144?)

Tried it. RDS/TMC does not work on my GO910 in x40 mode. Tested with 'native' mctx.dat, from d/l link in http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?12861-Navcore-9.510,and mctx.dat from 9.134 & 8.351.

Like your installer though.

GO does not say RDS/TMC connected RDS/TMC so does not show traffic bar and, therefore this facility is not available.

Yes. 9.026, 9.051, 9.134 (currently in use) and the original 7.910 (I think was/is the GO910 nc from TTHome).

If you are responding to Downunder's post 12, he asked about other emulations, not other navcores.

No, I did not try any other emu. Other DU navcores with skin chooser/changer I've tried, only the lowest numbered emu displayed the traffic bar, so 9.510 may be similar but as I wanted x40 I've reverted to 9.143.
