The 9.510 NC is offered by TTH, even if you'd completely empty the device. It is the (latest) official NC for this device.
Just use FA. Patching your NC won't be necessary but FA would say that anyway.
Updating this should be really simple. Just make sure you take a suitable map with ALG.

Yes, it was simple, thanks! Do I really need the DSA-EMulation files in my root? I'd like to delete them if they're not necessary.

No, you don't.
I always look a the voices and remove the ones I don't need. Also take a look at zip codes. It saves some storage you might need later

DSA-Emulation allows you to set your ONE 3rd edition to emulate different TT models. If that feature doesn't interest you, then yes you can delete those files.
I do not give help by PM. It deprives our other members of a chance to learn. Please post your issue in the appropriate forum/thread. You will get an answer.

Hi everyone,
I'm testing this Navcore on a One V4 (the one with no internal memory).
The only problem I can find so far is a big lag with keypresses (turning into blue) when entering city (not streets for some reason!).
I tested with small maps and faster SD cards but problem remains.
No problem with other earlier Navcores.

Any idea?

Thanks.

This one on my Tomtom XL does not work. It gives me half screen after installing.

Hello,

I had another go and I noticed you don't see keypresses (blue keys) if you don't wait for the results to appear after each keypress. It's a minor annoyance once you know it but it's weird other NCs don't behave like this..

Hi. Tried to download the navi core 510, but it says forbidden. Also will this work with the Go 700? As in teh device Id - there is no Go 700 listed? Do I just edit it to also include the Go 700? Kind regards

You can install the latest NC 9.541 from the following link:

[Please Register or Login to download file]

Also, your device has the SirfStar chipset, so you'll probably have problems with getting a sat fix & the time remaining at 0.00 on the device...if so read this:

Hope someone can help me out -

Tomtom Rider 2nd Ed
NC 9.501 BL 5.128

Used Clear Flash prior to a fresh install. After using latest F.Activate (seemed to proceed normally) I'm getting stuck on a "TomTom The flashing process is starting..." screen on startup. It requires a hard start to shut down. I can get hardware/firmware data on a long press startup - otherwise it stays on flashing process....screen.

I hope this is a simple fix for something either dumb, or I haven't understood.

Suggestions appreciated.
