Car GPS - NOT Find Navigation Software

Postby Shahidoo » Fri Apr 08, 2016 9:51 am

Hey guys

I seen a thread here, general-discussions-about-igo-core-f87/gps-find-navigation-software-t11523.html

However, my case is a lil different..

My GPS slot works for the SD Card..
I know this because if i go into the SD Card option in my home menu of the head unit, it shows the files on there..

If i go into navigation to set igo Primo 2 as navigation path, it wont show the SD Card..

With or without the card in the radio, it shows

Storage Card
Nandflash..

Going into both, its empty.. Not a single file..

In the Navi Path it shows NWDsoftware.exe

I cant change the path..
Not sure what radio it is as i got it with the car..
But its in an Audi A4.
Has the options to choose a car brand logo on start up..
Mine shows Audi obviously..
I dont know if this info will help you guys assist me..

No way to reboot the radio or anything..
Or to remove the NWDsoftware.exe

Please help..

Thanks in advance

I suppose that your navigation pad is

Storage Card\NWDsoftware.exe
or is it
StorageCard\NWDsoftware.exe

Is that correct ? and you can,t changed it (there must be a setup icon in the radio)
If it can,t been changed try next
place folders and files from Igo Primo on the SD Card.
Rename the Primo.exe file in NWDsoftware.exe.
Remove the sys.txt file and keep it safe on your computer
Remove the folder Save and keep it safe on your computer to.

SD Card in Radio and start the navigation with the icon.
Is something happen now

Its StorageCard\NWDsoftware.exe

Correct..
I never got a SD card with the maps for the radio.
So trying my own card and maps.
Doesnt show anything..

I seen under info, details for the radio
D001 Main8950 100504A07

There isnt a next option there..

I did try to use igo primo on card with changing names to NWDsoftware.exe..

Nothing shows..

Maybe the card reader is damaged. I wonder..

Is there perhaps another option to load maps to the unit directly onto internal memory??

Thanks

Or maybe you're putting the SD card in the wrong slot.
If it ain't broke don't fix it!
ALWAYS BACK-UP YOUR FILES/FOLDERS BEFORE MAKING EDITING CHANGES!

Probably not but you do want FAT32. Not a quick format but a full format.
