hello all how are you doing?

I am a newbie here with my Oregon 450 i bought it to go fishing for Halibut and to find ideal spots for the best chances to catching that big one.

I downloaded the VEU708L and now i need help to put it on my oregon 450

any help would be much appreciated.

if you downloaded unlocked .IMG file, just extract it, and copy-paste to garmin folder, on your device ;).

i have my oregon but no card,

is is a scandisk micro sd card i need and if so what size will 8gb do

and what do i have to do to get the maps on the card and get it to work with my oregon. I am a newbie to all this so please treat me like the idiot i am

Make folder Garmin on your SD CARD, and put inside your downloaded img, i don't know really what's type is of that image, cause i didn't download it, and i don't give support for something which isn't uploaded by me, i just can give you some advices..

I saw that img is for SD Card usage, probably is unlocked, bot at comments i saw that people wrote that you have to unlock it, then use some of unlockers here on garmin forum, and unlock it, or just generate gmapsupp.unl file with garmin keygen, in the Garmin dir on your SD card, and also don't forget to write your unlock code to the gmapsupp.unl file!

Check in garmin software section for garmin keygen and garmin unlockers...
