Hello. I need help again. My PN 6000 freezes on startup screen. Any help?

Wed Mar 06, 2013 10:52 am

Any clues as to why, freeze, error message, tinkering, etc?

No message. Just freeze. With and without the SD card the same happened. Something like device don't know where to boot from.

If it won't boot and there is no USB connection, then all you can do is flash the ROM again, however I believe this device needs to boot to windows to be able to start the flashing procedure..?

Worth a try anyway.

On Sunday I will have more time, so I can try to play with flashing device. Is there any tutorial how to do it?

Files are [Please Register or Login to download file]

These files are for the VDO Dayton PN6000 ONLY!

Follow the instructions EXACTLY

After the update has finished, try the iGO installation again, If the calibration is still out then it's a hardware problem.

I don't have the files, but I originally got them from the official vdo site, they might be still available from there, I remember they weren't that easy to find, that's why I used another host.
