Yes ive noticed it can take a while to find the sats first start and finds 3-5 of them which again is less than before.
my TomToms with GL2 chipset still find 7 or more sats quickly.

Not much we can do about it. If it really is related to the WNRO, then this can only be fixed by updated "gltt" file. 99% this will not happen.

I put the ttconv-v10 and perfect in my tomtom thank you very much to all my tomtom one v8 with GL1 works the theme of the hour

On the other hand, the subject of satellites, sometimes it does not take them and so that I take them I have to restart the tomtom. What is it due to? Can it be solved in some way?

I hope your answer

Nope. Can't do anything about reception.

I've noticed my GL1-chipset tt had trouble getting a satellite fix when coming out of sleep.
When rebooting each power-up, it worked better.

If your tomtom has trouble finding satellites after sleep mode (like my One XL, have the 9.541 from the fang28 thread), you might want to try forcing it to power-off instead of go to sleep.

Put the value 30 in \suicide.dat
Make sure the file \noautosuspend.dat does NOT exist

The 30 value means: after 30 seconds of sleep, power off.`

The clock fix in this thread works very good for me, so thank you again. Using v11 of the script now.

Thanks treysis. Just installed your workaround on a TT One Ver3 (8.010). Works a treat. Will let you know if any problems arise :023: :023: :023:

Hey, I found something :024:
For me it fixes the issue for the GL1 chipset devices not finding any satellites, after waking up from sleep, on the 9.541 navcore.
I've found that an old version of the glgps/gltt files actually solves the issue on my One v3.

Step 1 Get navcore 9.541 SE from this post
Step 2: Get old glgps/gltt files from [Please Register or Login to download file] . Copy them over the files in \bin
Step 3: don't forget to apply the ttconv patch from this thread for the 00:00 time issue.

I've been testing this for the past 3 days with auto power on/off to sleep mode on my motorcycle and no problems so far.
After auto-wake up it takes less than a minute to get a fix.
