You can't compare, unless you have a Carminat full spec sheet.

Some American models and newer models with Navcore 10, 11 would be good for comparison.

Thanx for the suggestion. Since the devices, that use v10 or v11 navcore and operate through MyTomTom rather than TTHome, can't be cracked/patched/copied/manipulated etc, Navitotal isn't going to waste any time or forum space on them.

Great work on the chart.

Quick update:
I have a TomTom ONE XL, and it's internal memory shows as 1GB when connected to my computer. I bought the GPS from a garage sale so I don't have the box, however both the label on the back of the GPS and the screen states it is a 'TomTom ONE XL' (no mention of 'XL340', 'IQ' etc). The chart lists this GPS as only 512.

Hope that helps!

Carminat can only the Carminat Navcore, on some device you can add tomplayer as a video player but that's about it.

i mainly wanted to update the UK map
my current navcore is 8.842
so i was wanting to see if there was any point in upgrading the navcore so i have better access to the maps or just stay where i am (i notice on more upto date navcores there are a lot more map versions available).
i was hoping the comparison chart may shed some light for me as i dont really fully understand all the different versions

If you are referring to the chart in post 1 of this thread, it is not the one you want. Look at the one in post 1 of the "All New Maps 890.XXXX & 891.XXXX" thread
