Hi,
I own a TomTom 1005,8GB.Europ v920 is installed and i was able to install France v1110 using TTActivator.So far so good.
As the device has a SD slot,i wanted to install Europ zone 3 on a sd card with the idea to patch that downloaded map with radars poi's and an appropriate mapsetting.cfg before using R-link Explorer to write it to the sd.
I formatted a 8BG sd using R-link tools ,selected TomTom.000 but when i open ext000,it shows only lost+found directory,no common/installed.Moreover,got also a message "map mount error" when selecting the map on R-link left side.
I sure did something wrong but i'm at lost.

Well,i'm able to answer my problem/question :
my mistake was to format the sd card using R-link tools : DON'T !!
Formating the sd in the 1005 did the trick.
Made a test with France's' map and Lufop's "danger warnings" : works great !!
Will put the needed maps on the 8Gb Sd and no maps internally , at least till i find a way
to add poi's to the internal maps.
