Seems to me that your Navcore isn't patched.

Hi Guys,

It looks like that the linkt to the TTactivator is missing again.
Is it possible that this is restored ?

Thanks

what i wanna let you know is that.
When you use sd card you have to unpack the files.
That,s different with nav3
When you putt it on the intern memory you don,t unpack the files
But on the sd card you have to unpack the files like the old tomtom.
It cost me a day to discover it.
so maybey someone else coul;dn,t get the map working maybey it,s this problem

Forget all below. It seems that the latest version of the Europe Zone 4 map cannot be activated despite what TTActivator told me. A different version of the map patched happily. However, I do still have a question. What else, other than the information the TTActivator provides, should I check before downloading a particular map to ensure that it will work? Thanks.

Hello. I have inherited a Go Live (Model 4ER41) which had a very old Europe Zone 4 map installed. I believe that I have completed all the required steps listed in Post 1 but have issues.

Firstly, I used TTActivator to patch the NavCore with the original map installed and this seemed to work OK. I then deleted the original map (not enough room on 4Gb memory). I updated meta using TTActivator then downloaded the latest version of the Zone 4 map. The instructions told me that the earlier step of deleting the map would also delete the patch so I then re-installed that again.

Having rebooted the TomTom I am now in a cycle. The device asks me to select the only map loaded (Europe Zone 4) It says "One moment please..." and then, after a while, reboots back to the select map screen. I have tried all the steps again from the start with the same outcome. Any suggestions? Many thanks.

Edit: The Installed Content tab shows nothing; however, there is something on the disk as the Device Storage Usage increases correctly when the map is installed.

The most important thing, of course, is whether a meta code is available.
If so, activating the correct map shouldn't be a problem.
Unfortunately, TTactivator sometimes lags behind on updating the meta code file, and then you'll have to find the code elsewhere.
With a bit of searching, you'll find it somewhere.
I have this one from zone 4 on my list.
