How to: unlock map for Basecamp

Any idea how to unlock a map for basecamp. The manual says using Jetmouse…

Jetmouse is an old program and used for making an unlock code that can be used with *.img file or in combination with a map on your PC. What manual?
There are more newer tools to unlock a map for Basecamp.
But what for map you want to unlock for use with Basecamp?. An *.img on a gps or sd-card or a map that is installed on a PC (gmap version or Windows-register map)?
